Abstract
I. Introduction
Internal resorption is described by progressive destruction of intra-radicular dentin and dentinal tubules along the root canal wall. It is usually asymptomatic and detected during routine full mouth radiographic investigations. Various etiologic factors have been considered as the reason of internal root resorption. Trauma and pulpal inflammation/infection are the major contributory factors in the initiation of internal root resorption, although the complete etiologic factors as well as the pathogenesis have not yet been completely studied. Root canal treatment with the thermoplastic injection technique is considered the treatment of choice of internal resorption without perforation.

II. Case Presentation
< Case 1 >
1. Sex/age: M/23
2. Chief Complaint: mild sharp pain when it is touched
3. Past Dental History: trauma (car accident) on the maxillary and mandibular anterior area, 3 month ago
4. Present Illness: per (+), pal (-), mob 0, cold (-), EPT (-)
5. Impression: pulp necrosis and internal resorption on #31
6. Tx. plan: nonsurgical endodontic treatment of #31

< Case 2 >
1. Sex/age: F/19
2. Chief Complaint: mild uncomfortable feeling on #31
3. Past Dental History: severe swelling on the mandibular anterior area 1 week ago
4. Present Illness: per (+), pal (-), mob 0, cold (-), EPT (+)
5. Impression: internal resorption on #31
6. Tx. plan: nonsurgical endodontic treatment of #31

III. Conclusion
In these case reports, the trauma and the cyst infection have caused the internal resorption. After root canal treatment, internal root resorption had stopped and symptom has disappeared. The thermoplastic gutta-percha filling techniques seemed to give the reasonable sealing effects on internal resorption without perforation.
